Our Story
Before starting Bird Feeder ALTA, we spent years running a busy window-cleaning business. One thing we noticed while cleaning thousands of windows was that every homeowner had a “golden window” — a place they naturally paused to think, unwind, or reconnect.
We were cleaning the glass, but nothing was happening through the window.
Meanwhile, birds were everywhere — chickadees, woodpeckers, nuthatches, finches, blue jays, cardinals — but most homes didn’t have the right feeders or the right seed to bring those moments of nature up close.
That’s why we created Bird Feeder ALTA: to help people turn their golden window into a daily source of calm, curiosity, and connection with the natural world.
